HRHS Stampede the North Forsyth Vikings, 25-6

The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls win the team’s first ever state playoff game with a hard running attack from Brian Baltimore and a very tough defense. The pregame talk was all about the North Forsyth air attack, but they never could get things off the ground. The Ragin' Bulls did give up several big pass plays, but stiffened when needed to turn back the Vikings. It was only a trick double pass play that put points on the board late in the 2nd half that kept the game from being a shutout.

More stats will be available later. Brief list of outstanding efforts: Danny Book blocked punt, Brian Baltimore racked up over 100 yards rushing, Ryan McGill interception return with 1:06 to play in first half good for a TD. Josh Freeman interception to seal the victory.

Next week Round 2 of the state playoffs.

Go Bulls!
